Lives and Works between New York and Miami.

Fine Art Photographer Nicolas Stipcianos was born in Colombia and raised under the influence of travel by his family, growing up between Colombia, Costa Rica, and Miami. He spent much of his upbringing exploring new places through surfing and skating. Becoming quickly immersed in this culture, he developed an eye for movement and curiosity that still stays with him as a photographer.


Stipcianos graduated from San Francisco Art Institute where he studied photography. Learning from conceptual artists and fine art photographers such as Reagan Louie, Henry Wessel, Linda Connor, Joseph Tamargo, Tony Labat, and Trisha Donnelly, helped to define his aesthetic. He went on to work with Ryan Mcginley, Collier Schorr, Antoine Verglas, Will Davidson, Alex Prager, Sebastian Faena, and Chris Bisagni among others.


Nico continues to carry a passion for traveling, always looking to visit new destinations and continue exploring with his personal brand of infectious optimism.
